Terms of Service
Last updated 25 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Elson Odejimi for the use of AskJarvis. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected] and ask.
1.What AskJarvis does
AskJarvis takes a description of a repetitive task you perform in a web browser and generates a Chrome extension that performs it. You download that extension and install it in your own browser. It runs on your machine.
The extension is generated using a large language model. It is software written by a machine from your description, and like any software it can contain mistakes.
2.Your account
You need an account to use AskJarvis. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe someone else has access to it.
You must be at least 18 years old. One person, one account. Do not share login credentials.
AskJarvis is intended for customers in the United States. We do not target other markets, and we may decline payment from cards issued outside the US.
3.Plans and what you are buying
Subscriptions are billed in advance. Current plans:
- Solo — $49 per month, 500 generations per month, licensed for one person in your organisation.
- Team — $199 per month, 1,500 generations per month, licensed for up to 25 people in your organisation.
- Business — $499 per month, 5,000 generations per month, licensed for unlimited people in your organisation.
A generation is one instruction that creates or modifies extension code, not one finished extension. A finished extension usually takes several. Your monthly allowance resets on the anniversary of the day you signed up. Unused allowance does not roll over.
If you exhaust your allowance you can buy top-up credits. Purchased credits do not expire and are used only after the monthly allowance is spent.
The licensed headcount is a contractual limit, not a technical one. We do not restrict who can install an extension you have built. We ask you to hold to the plan you have paid for.
4.Payment, renewal and cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term until cancelled.
You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not pro-rate a partial period.
If a renewal payment fails, generation is paused until billing is resolved. Extensions you have already built are unaffected.
Refunds. If AskJarvis does not work as described and we cannot fix it, email [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it. We may decline a refund where a substantial portion of the allowance has been used.
We may change prices. Existing subscribers keep their current price until the end of their term, and we will give at least 30 days notice before a new price applies.
5.What you build is yours
You own the extensions generated for you. You may use, modify and distribute them within your organisation without restriction, including after your subscription ends.
Generated extensions contain no licence check and do not communicate with us. If you stop paying, everything you have already built continues to work. What you lose is the ability to build new extensions or change existing ones.
You keep all rights in the descriptions and content you provide. We claim no ownership of them.
6.What you are responsible for
This is the most important section, so it is stated plainly: you are responsible for what your extensions do and for whether you are permitted to do it.
Many websites prohibit automated access, scraping, or bulk collection in their own terms. Some jurisdictions regulate it. We do not check any of that, and generating an extension is not our confirmation that using it is lawful or permitted. Before you automate a site you do not own, satisfy yourself that you are allowed to.
You agree not to use AskJarvis to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights
- access an account, system or data you are not authorised to access, or circumvent an access control
- harvest personal data in breach of data protection law
- build malware, spyware, or anything designed to deceive or harm a user
- defeat security measures, rate limits, or bot protection
- resell AskJarvis itself, or use it to build a competing product
We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.
7.What we do not promise
AskJarvis is provided as it is. Generated code is not reviewed by a person before you receive it, and we do not warrant that any extension will be correct, complete, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Test what you build before you rely on it, particularly anything that modifies data, submits forms, or acts on someone else's behalf.
Websites change. An extension that works today may stop working when a site is redesigned. That is expected, and the remedy is to describe the change and rebuild it.
We do not promise uninterrupted service. We rely on third parties, including Anthropic for generation, and an outage on their side is an outage on ours.
8.Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or indirect or consequential loss.
If your use of AskJarvis causes a claim against us by someone else — for example, a website whose terms you breached — you agree to cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it.
9.Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We may close or suspend an account that breaches these terms, or on 30 days notice for any other reason, in which case we refund any unused portion of a prepaid term.
After closure we delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy. Download anything you want to keep before you close your account. Extensions already installed in your browser are unaffected.
10.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use AskJarvis after that means you accept the change. If you do not, cancel before it applies and we will refund any unused prepaid period.
11.Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Maryland, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any protection you have under the law of the country where you live.
Please email [email protected] first. Almost everything is quicker to resolve in an email than anywhere else.
